Evo 8/9 Skunk2 manifold

Question about this skunk2 intake manifold…

Have any of you guys had to modify your throttle cable bracket to make it fit this intake manifold? Mine doesn’t seem to want to sit right. Looks like I’ll have to shave the bracket or drill the hole a bit bigger. Any info is appreciated.

Looks like you could buzz the corner & temporarily get that to line up or just fab up a simple alum brkt from scratch

You can get some simple alum angle at the hardware supply & bust out a custom brkt that would fit perfectly

a couple aluminum spacers/bushings might do the trick too

Decided to just drill the damn thing. Works now. Idk how other did theirs but since they didn’t want to chime in. This is how I did it. Drill the hole bigger and add in 2 washer.

I appreciate the input guys, thanks again.

late reply, but you're better off asking on facebook groups these days.. but i used the two aluminum spacers that came with the manifold to install that throttle cable bracket.
