2003 Evo 8 refreshing G35-900 ETS Quick Spool Build

So I decided it was time to refresh a bunch of things as well as be as proactive as I can and make it more enjoyable/reliable and take away excuses why I cant drive it many related to weather. The biggest challenges were tires and decided to get rid of snow tires (which I haven't used in many years) and swap out my summer tires for some awesome performance all season tires (Pilot Sport) which I don't have to worry about traction issues due to the tires not warming up etc.

I'm the original owner crazy its 21 years old and was time to refresh a ton of stuff not a complete list but to list a majority of it:
all new OEM wheel Bearings, new stoptech parking brake shoes, new Girodisc rotors (have these currently and love them so just refreshing), new pads DS2500's, refreshed Brembo's (2nd time) rebuild and new powder (Franks Powder Coating does an awesome job), new SS brake lines (old ones rusted where it connected to the calipers), new backing plates (old ones were rough), fender liners (just becuase), under hood insulator (old was destroyed after years), new HVAC damper link gears and new cables (newer version that prevents binding), all new window trim, trunk carpet & board, replaced all the speakers with Sony XS-160ES/GSs.

Performance stuff:
G35-900 w/ ETS Quick spool turbo kit - Really like the improvement over my old Precision 6266 v2 and older ETS Kit, picked up a bit more power but really way better improvement down low reminded me of when I got my stroker kit huge improvement in spool. I noticed driving it around 2k was really smooth no issues, and going up hills where I'd normally have to downshift to bring my RPM's into the 4k's it was happy in the 3k's for casual driving. Over all very impressed and surprised with the difference.
Made: 820WHP at 36-37PSI on E65, and 636WHP on 93 - wanted the tune to be VERY conservative so there is decent power left on the table.
Tomei Ti Catback Exhaust, Test-pipe with Vibrant resonator - Actually not that loud and looks amazing. Was concerned with Tomei being traditionally one of the louder exhausts but with a resonator was perfect.
MISC: new oil cooler lines as the old one were leaking slightly, resealed the oil and transmission as they had condensation very minor leaks but why not, Boosted Fabrication front cross member
Whiteline - Rear sway bar, front and rear end links
Ohlins R&T- these always had high reviews pretty far back as I can remember and they are amazing. Driving is stiff but at the same time when you hit bumps etc you aren't getting launched it is pretty amazing another win!
Drive Shaft bushings - JXB drive shaft shaft carrier bushings WOW.... aside from the turbo kit difference this is probably my second most shocking underrated modification. This kit takes away so much slop in the drive shaft, makes the driving feel so much nicer. I only did this because stock were rusted and I was shocked how much I could move the drive shaft with my hand. this is a MUST do upgrade!
Carbing TI Front Strut Bar - I've always wanted this $$$$ but sooooo nice!

Coming Soon:
Ti -
JD engine bay goodies
Carbon Fiber DS - DDS CF Shaft, TSComptuned who does all my work/tuning said if I liked the carrier bushings those were "bandaids" with the CF shaft I'm told it will be a game changer. Researched some old threads on here on it and I'm sold I'll update once that's in
Carbing Rear Strut bar
AZA: New CF/Leather Steering Wheel
Intertek Fabrication - Few interior goodies
Trunk left/right Liner- Mine is destroyed over the years hopefully ordering from someone in Ukraine works out and comes through as these are so hard to find.
Drive Shaft rebuilds x4 - had a cracked boot decided it was wise to do them all as it would only be a matter of time.

I'll update this thread once I get the car back and get some other goodies in.... some long term plans of under carriage rust in the works for next winters project I'll throw in here as well.

Looking VERY NICE! cant wait to add Ti upgrades

JBX Carrier bushings

fresh!

Test Pipe and Resonator

Tomei

Looking good! Did you cut off the brake master cylinder stopper on the strut bar?

Yes I did, came for a right hand drive obviously the wrong side so took it off to clean it up, probably end up grabbing the grimmspeed one and putting that on there.

Is your engine a 2.0L or a stroker?

Dyno graph looks great. My experience with the Gseries is the turbo is probably about done at that power level. You're at less than 100hp away from the compressors max air flow rating, which would be crank hp not whp. And these turbo's don't operate at higher pressure ratios,

Example, all my 2.2L g30-770 setups end up at 670whp at 32psi,
