Leak down test results + question

Leak down test results were 17% across all cylinders, leaking out of the exhaust side. Oil is also visible around the exhaust manifold gasket.
I am unsure if the test was done with hot or cold motor.

What am I looking at work/repair wise?

Input much appreciated, thanks!

Oil around the exhaust manifold gasket is probably because someone changed the studs and didn't put thread sealer on the lower row before installing them in the head.

17% leak isn't "great" but it's not end of the word either. Does the car run ok? What is compression?

Appreciate you replying to my posts - thanks man.

The compression didn't seem great to me but was told by Raif it was fine and should leave it alone.
115-100-100-120 (Evo 9 with GSC s2)

Car drives fine, doesn't burn/lose oil. WOT is fine. There is just a bit of hesitation with partial throttle/cruising that I am trying to iron out lately - maybe plug gaps.

What exactly does it imply when all 4 cylinders have equal leak down as opposed to say one bad cylinder?
Is this just a valve job? Camshaft issue?

I've also attached a pic of the exhaust mani leak, if that helps for whatever reason.

Thanks again!

That compression isn't great. You have greater than 10% variance between cylinders.

If the leak down is 100% confirmed to be valves, you could try refreshing the head.

A hesitation in cruise could be tune or dirty injectors. Hard to say since I'm not working on it.

Yea I'm not thrilled with the compression but seems to drive fine - thought it was odd that two adjacent cylinders have equally low compression, not sure what to make of that.
