I just bought the Turbo XS turbo-back with Random Tech HF cat. A bit loud at full throttle. It did prevoke the following comment from a friend that wanted me to sell my Evo and buy a Benz like his...after he drove it he said, "That exhaust makes this car, don't ever sell it, it is just what this car needed."
Bought it from Nino, good deal.

Buschur turbo back. With the highflow CAT its not that loud. Also ask Dave, but I believe its the lightest of any other system. Very happy with mine, and the service you get from them.

Wow 50 whp is impressive. I think I will look into the RSR- I love its look, the sound sounds great, and with that kind of power it is worth the money. Plus I don't think I want an exhaust that is too loud (and I like the flexibility with taking the silencer out). I am a little concerned about the sharp angle in it, though. But hey I guess the dyno speaks for itself. I'll check out Perrin too; I know they make quality stuff. Thanks!

EDIT: I checked out the pricing for the RSR ExMag GTII, and it's not too bad:

$535.80 for the catback at www.horsepowerfreaks.com
$182.04 for RsR DP and $243.01 for RsR SS DP @ same place.

Can anyone reccomend a place w/ better prices ad also a good high flow cat that woud be compatable? Also are there any fitment issues w/ the Rsr? I would like to do this myself but it would be the first time I've ever tried it.

Yea, your pretty much going to get a different answer from every person. Everyone thinks their exhaust is the nicest.

We have a couple options on our exhausts to make them quieter if you don't want the lightest/loudest option. We are the lightest stainless steel system on the market, 24 pounds from the turbo to the back.

That "about 50 whp" that someone quoted they got is not a dyno'd number, that's obvious from the "about" guess they typed.

I could still go with the magnaflow muffler; I heard that sound and it's pretty nice. I will have a lot of decisions to make that's fur sure Oh but can you tell me if the magnaflow impedes flow/gains at all?

On the site I listed above, they advertise the following in reference to RsR's DP: "Test results have shown that these down pipes in conjunction with the GT2 exhaust systems [that's the exmag] showed increased engine power by as much as 50 HP."

They didn't say whp, so I'm not quite sure about that one, but the gains are impressive nonetheless.

Decisions, decisions...

It shouldn't void your warranty. My dealer installed mine.

I too have this exhaust with the HKS down pipe and am really happy with it. Not too loud and nice power gains.

I'm not sure how they got those hp numbers. Buschur's comment is probably correct. The test done by EVOm at Brain Storm showed a gain of less than 8 hp for the exhaust. That would mean that the dp added over 40 hp and that doesn't make sence.

Check out other EVOs in your area with different exhaust and then make a decision.

I like RnR's new exhuast, it has a beautiful magnaflow canister so sound should be nice, but it is also almost straight through and has a normal tip that aligns with the bumper. This and the B and B are now my favs.

If you look at your factory warranty, you'll notice that the exhaust system isn't covered anyway. So swapping it out isn't a big deal; and like RedUSEVO said, his dealer did it for him (and mine has already offered to do the same).
