CEL after installing pump and injectors

Installed Walboro pump and 680 injectors. Drove car a few miles and CEL came on. Came home and disconnected battery for a bit, CEL went out. Unfortunately car does not want to idle worth a damn. I am using SAFC to control fuel. Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

have you leaned it out a bit down low to get the idle back?

Um, what are you running for engine management?

With no other changes, you will run richer than Bill Gates and your car will be slower, you will probably foul plugs (if you haven't already) and the car will generally hate you.

I do have an SAFC-II that I'm not using anymore, if you need it. PM me

I am running SAFC, I am using settings provided by Buschur. To get it to idle somewhat decent I have to set 800 point for -5 compared to -12 as suggested by Buschur. Since I reset the ECU do you think that has something to do with IDLE changing afterwards? Not sure of why the CEL came on.

If Buschurs settings at 800 rpm were -12, you need to go leaner (-15 to start maybe) not richer (-5). That's your problem, you're way too rich. Re-setting the ecu will allow it to re-set fuel trims and it may idle better than before, but I'm guessing you're still really rich. Be careful making changes you can't monitor with o2 voltage or egt's though, it's real easy to cook your engine if you're not sure what you're doing.
