What should the compression test results be.

I was wondering what the compression of our engines should be in all 4 cylinders running about 15-16 PSI. I am running lower boost until I can have the car tuned properly. I am also keeping the car off boost until it is tuned.

Thanks

Your question doesn't make sense...boost pressure has nothing to do with compression, unless you are talking about cylinder pressure while the car is running.

Why would you need to know that? I'm sure someone has the answer, but, I mean, why do you ask?

compression ratio is 8.8
Compression (w/warm engine and throttle fully open) should be 163psi. Minimum is 138psi.

I just did a compression test last weekend.....190psi all across.

pls keep in mind that my number may different than yours cuz we use different guages.

When I use the same guage to test my ITR motor....it read 255 psi
I guess that's the different between high compression and low compression motor
