The videos I posted above show the rear bumper area and you can see it's fine. We are running with out a cat and autronic. but even with lots of fireball action and a LOT of track time, the bumper is not in the melting path.

Out Daily Driver car was deemed to shiny and got moved to show and shine.. Didn't want to really embaress too many slow dirty race cars..

do a search. There was another guy who posted his Greddy review the same time I did and he has pictures of the Greddy. The pipe is no where close to touching the bumper. If it does, you put it on wrong.

yes it does taper towards the cat. I did not measure it. But I believe that it shoud be 3 inch at the cat and 3.1 or sth (80mm) piping the rest of the way.
damn... it's a beautiful exhaust, just buy the heat shield and call it a day and enjoy one of the finest exhausts out there... it's not a crisis, it's $18, and if you bought the greddy, you should be able to afford the shield... lol...
