Turbo Trix reflashing the BR500

well heres the deal, Mark can add in if he feels too.....we did a tune and came to 348whp 305 ft lbs.....it was on like 23.5 psi.......94 octane....my old numbers were 385whp 338ft lbs on 27 psi and 100 octane....its a nice smooth ride right now, bertween shifts and throughtout......we are waiting for the AEM EMS to come and were tunning it from there....its realy the only way too go Mark said.....almost a waist of time without it for this many modds.....im curious on what boost and gas this guy made with AL for 444whp??? they did a run at 30psi at pruven that yeilded 412whp.....???? some info please??? too add in, that shop was sooo impresive, STI's evo's all with turbo ipgrades, a sweet 300z, lots of nice cars, think there were 5 evos there....anyway....im gonna enjoy the car for how it rides know and go fromt here when i do the AEM....thanks guys!

Great news. I have no idea how the other guy got that power however he was using C-16 which is like methanole

Was great meeting you guys today, Hope all is good now with the car. For some reason the car was super rich, causing it to break up. OH well all is fixed, next is the aem for evo8power ... then the numbers will go up. 444 is very impressive with a flash .. We only achieved 433 at 29lbs of boost with the aem on the br500 torque was 330 @ 5100. evo8power came in same boost levels from up at pruven with 330hp and 280 ft lbs at 24psi.. Did two back to back pulls.. same number. Was a hectic day ..sorry i could hang out with you guys longer ... Next time ..

Hey Mark - from what this evo8power guy was posting he had just changed his intake - intercooler pipes and bov , wouldnt that have some effect on th tuning .Mark you say it was back to back runs AFTER the guy canges the parts on the car so what does that mean ? Also Mark are you saying that he needs a AEM- why is that becuase you do not know how to make power with a reflash ? it seems this guy lost power and now is making less power than he was making at pruven what happened ??? your Br500 reflash numbers have almost the same power as Buschur Stage 4 numbers witth stock turbo that Al makes . I am just trying to figure out what happened. Ive been following kevins posts. Trying to see the potential of the br500. numbers witth stock turbo that Al makes .are you saying that AL makes more whp with his $199 reflash tan you make with a $2,000 aem . BTW - When did you ever tune a BR500 kit ??? wasnt it a BR580 that you tuned before? Evo8power looks like you LOST big power by changing from Buschur Flash to Turbio Tricks. Just looking for answer

At 24psi tapers to 22psi, Mark @ turbotrix manage to squeezed 351WHP and 345TQ with our stock turbo + AEM EMS on my car(and its on the conservative tuning site too) , so i m sure u can get more power from the BR500 + AEM.

car does run good, but im confused, i made 330whp 360ft lbs on 27 psi with stock turbo a long time ago, thi sis with Dynoflash, now ive added turbo kit and cams feul and pipeing, and just a start up run only reveals 320whp?????? before Mark even touched it.....what could possibly be wrong with my car???? is something not installed correctly or something??? i mean it runs good know and mark fixed the richness....and laggg is gone......but shouldnt it be laying down 380-390 with out even trying???just very confusing that a turbo kit cams gained my 10whp.......after being tunned

hahahah... ok.. first off,, a bov .. upper intercooler pipe and intake pipe ..will not change his tune at all. If you would like swing by and i'll pull a evo on the dyno change upper i/c pipe and intake pipe and do another pull. The tune will be exactly the same. Now .. i have tuned a BR500..please know your facts before posting... It was on DA4BANGR's car .. If you check anyone with an aem system in the car it probably makes about 30 + more hp on average switching to speed density and that system. I made the 433 on ricks car at 29psi of boost... through speed density no mass. On ricks car ..i made 385 whp on the aem ... and 350 whp through a flash on kevin's car, wow look at that 35more hp's with the aem. Hmm im seeing a pattern here.

A car tuned to say .. 11.4 ..afr , after you put an upper i/c pipe on and a bov .. Do you think that his a/f will go from 11.4 to prob 9:1 .. 10.0 is the lowest our dyno reads .. The car was so rich that it was breaking up.. I dunno.. What are you essentially changin .. A valve that will bleed boost higher then 21 psi .. A rubber to a metal pipe... Im terribly vexed ..as to how this would change his afr so drastically .. ???

The AEM does do the trick when it comes to having a turbo kit and making big power. I have had a 35R kit since early march and no other stand alone made more power. I tried two different systems, one I don't even want to say and the other was the Power FC D-Jetro. With just a base map on the AEM, no tuning, it made 14 more whp on a Mustang Dyno. After it was tuned I can't tell you how big of a difference it made. Spool, idle, etc. was significantly better.
Evo8power: Save up for the AEM, have turbo trix, Tym, whoever tune the it, and then I think you will be happy. Till then don't fall into all of this hype. Just my .02

A factor here that should be clear to everyone is that Pruven has the highest reading AWD Dynojet in the USA. You can't correlate numbers between there and Turbotrix, because a car that reads 300whp on most dynojets will read 315-320whp at Pruven.
Pick a shop for tuning and stick with it. There is nothing wrong with dynos that show different numbers, just don't compare them, because Pruven's has always read extremely high. I think Turbotrix is an awesome shop and would definitely go there if I lived up in the Northeast.
