I was wondering if any one was running an HKS turbo (like a 3240,TO4_) on their EVO 8. I was wondering what the spool up was. Using Nitrus, Stroker Kit?

do u have a dyno for that pull? that's incredible!! that't not even with a standalone??? just UTEC?

 

Hmm thats some interesting numbers in relation of hp/tq, especially on a stock turbo. If you dont mind, could post your dyno sheets, I would just like to look at them for reference.

I suspect its either Crank HP (an estimate) or the SAE Correction for altitude is inflating the numbers a bit.. but as long as his run to run numbers are consistent, at least he can tell if new mods will make gains..

 

No way in hell are those whp, must be flywheel.. Would definitely like to see that dyno sheet...

1.26 correction factor.. Normally only used for normally aspirated engines.. Look how early the HP and torque peaks, then dies off.. Definitely an overworked Turbocharger.. hehe.. Your numbers are closer to about 350whp (approx) for those mods..

What is your altitude? High altitude, warm day.. big correction factor..

 

Have you gotten to a track yet?

You aint kidding.. I don't blame you for wanting a new turbo, at that altitude the stock turbo just has to work too hard..
