Dyno Numbers ATP Turbo Kit!!!

Hey guys spent all day today getting the car tuned and dynoed. We dynoed on a Mustang AWD dyno and after talking to the owner he said there is about a 15% difference from Dynojet and similar dynos. From doing some research i guess he is right. Anyway im a little worried about the low torque numbers but the car pulls so hard now that you cant really tell at all. We ran very safe A/F ratios so i think there is more to be had but let me know what you think. I will get the graphs up tomorrow becouse the disk they gave me of course doesnt work so im getting them emailed to me tomorrow. This is what i can recall i know the Pump gas numbers are right and i know the Race gas HP is right but not sure about the torque i will verify tomorrow when i post. The Pu mp gas we only ran 19psi and A/F of 11.5 on the race we ran 29psi and a A/F of 12.1 so i think there is some room for improvment specially on the pump gas numbers. All i can say is OMG im so happy!. The turbo pulls hard all the way up and by looking at the numbers you can easily see that when i get my internal work done and raise the rev limiter there is allot more to be had. "Peak torque and Peak HP are at Redline " But i still LOVE IT! What a rush!

358.2 @7250rpms = HP
262.3 @6750rpms = Torque
And with the 15% correction here are the real numbers
412 @ 7250rpms = HP on Pump Corrected
302 @ 6750 = Torque on Pump Corrected

And now here we go for the race gas!

443.7 @7250rpms = HP
322.6 @7250rpms = Torque
And with the 15% correction here are the real numbers
511 @7250rpms = HP on Race Corrected
371 @7250rpms = Torque on Race Corrected

Great numbers man, really good stuff. Thanks for posting this up, i was looking for some hard numbers since this is one of the kits I am considering. Post up some dyno sheets when you get a chance, good stuff...

By the way what front mount intercooler are you using? Do you also have ARP on your connecting Rods?

We need to see the graphs so we can see how the power comes on. I know it has to be a little laggy but the top end might be worth it.

Graphs are very smooth. hits full boost according to the AEM at 5000rpms. I will post the sheets so you guys can see. I was really worried about being to laggy but it still revs in first so fast then you are out of the lag for all the rest of the gears and in the GT35/40R comfort spot. Like i said i need to do some engine work to get it to rev higher as you will see when i post the dyno graphs. I just wanted to say BIG THANX TO JOHN, TIM, AND EVERYBODY AT TORQUE FREAKS AND HORSEPOWER FREAKS, AND A BIG THANX TO MATRIX ENGINEERING FOR LETTING US USE THERER DYNO YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!

I went to a Vishnu dyno day there and they installed my cams and gears. I knew it was Matrix because of the low torque numbers. Those are some great numbers BTW. I threw down 285hp on pump and 316hp on 100oct. That is with 272's, 3" TB w/ HF cat, and XEDE. I wish they could fix there torque readings though.

The guys at Matrix are cool guys.

The ATP 3071 kit is awsome. I have 2 friends that have this kit. One made 380whp on basically no MODS. And the other is getting his dynoed and tuned on the 12th with more mods then i have. So it will be interesting to see what happens. According to ATP if you are looking for 450whp or higher you should get the GT35/40R. I mean the 3037 probably would be able to hold it but still pushing on that turbo. But the 3071 turbo will get you like stock spool with the right mods and over 400whp and the turbo will be maxed. But it still a great turbo just depends on what you want.

all I know that these are great great numbers. 443 on a mustang dyno is like a dream to some high tuners. You did a great job choosing your parts and you have a monster now. I would do a head job now and rais my rev till 8500 rpm and let it rip. by the way I know that you have only 200 miles on the turbo, just wait and see once its fully broken in that will shave 300 rpm of lag.

Hey guys i got the graphs but man are they terrible quality. I am working on getting some clearer ones. Come to find out the Mustang dyno at Matrix has been known for having low torque numbers. On top of that being 15% lower then a dynojet. You would think it would be time to get a new dyno but hey whatever works i guess. Next time i will be getting on a Dynojet and see how that goes. Anyway let me know what you think. There is a Pump and a Race graph and you will be able to tell what is what. If anybody knows of some good engine package "blueprint, balance, pistons, rods, cams, retainers, springs, let me know. Im gonna work on getting the revs up to see what this turbo can really do.
