MBC vs EBC whats better?

Looking for anyones opinion on what is the better boost controller overall for my Evo. I have seen many people running MBC's cause they are cheap but I also belive that the EBC allows u more controll over your boost tuneing. My problem is is it worth the extra money performance wise or will u really seen no difference between a manual and electronic boost controller? Also I have seen a lot of people complaining about the EBC causing damnage to there engines, is the a problem with them or are they just being tuned wrong. Thanxs for the help

EBC are in general flakey and inconsistent. The only EBC that my customers have good luck with is the profec B.

I suggest you stick with a good quality manual controller such as the hallman brand. There is no sizable performance gain in using an EBC other than convienence of incar adjustment. The good things about EBC is for fwd cars that have traction issues and benifit from lower staged boost in the first two gears. you have all the traction you need. put the boost to the maximum your tuning/fuel can handle and leave it.

oh yeah...there's also a minumun of $200 price differance that would be better off spend on something that will improve performance rather than bling bling electronics.
