does anyone know what the two "knobs" are onthe hks eids?
it might be causing the problem, but i cant read japanese
and would like to know if it is a tuning problem.

You have the wires from maf and to ecu reversed. One knob doesn't get used, the other one I set at \ , exactly like that. Almost near the top, but still a bit aways. I'd say the 10-oclock position. Reverse the wires from maf and to ecu, and your problem will be fixed

 

would that be the white and yellow wires.. where you had to cut the wire in half and connect the eids to both ends?
