best way to run a mbc? manifold or compressor?

just installed my mbc the way i figured was the easiest.
boost source (compressor line)
wastegate

although i read that many people are using the manifold to bov line as the boost source.

i was just wondering which was more accurate/better.

yes, it is by far the simplest since youd have to plug up that line anyway.

i just want to know the difference.
heard that the mainfold would be more accurate because of the air temp.

Ive been told by 3 top EVO tuners to use the compressor line and NOT the manifold or BOV line. They told me why, but Im a dummy and didn't really understand.

i was planning on staying with the compressor since its the easiest and makes the most sense to my simple mind.

i just wanted to be educated on the subject.

For what it's worth, I just moved mine from the BOV to the compressor. Not only is it simpler, I think it spikes less.

Er, no picture but I made a diagram. It's pretty easy to follow, click here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/at...chmentid=43028

this pic is from top of the bay looking towards the ground.

the top vaccum line (closest to the hks purple band on the intake pipe) is the compressor line (boost source)
the bottom vaccum line is the wastegate

hope this helps ya out.

your wastegate is operated by POSITIVE boost pressure regulated by a BC or the factory solenoid

personally, ill take the stronger, constant Boost signal from the compressor over one from the manifold that has lower pressure due to pressure drop through the intercooler, not to mention the manifold will go into vacum when the Throttle Plate is closed, making your boost controller nothing more than a nice clicking black box, leaving your Blow-Off-Valve or By-Pass-Valve to control the boost on throttle lifts
