Evo MR Exhaust (buschur)

For those of you who know about exhausts,

My guess is the buschur racing downpipe (current one in production) will NOT work with the new evolution MR (or any 05 model for that matter) due to the location of the wastegate puck and the shape of the hole. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

When would you estimate that new versions will be available for the MR???

Does anyone have anything to add to this thought?

Bryan

I think you might be right, revisions might be in order for the downpipe. I'd put my money on the fact the cat-back portion of the exhaust will be a 1 for 1.

Until I get an MR here there is nothing I can do. Bring me an MR and I will give you a free downpipe.

Hi David,
How about me that just bought a complete turboback exhaust from you.
Mine is still not arrived here ( I send by sea freight).
I talked to you already that my car is EVO MR 2004.
Any advise from you David?
Thanks in advance.

I will take that offer on the broken in MR.

bluewater, if in fact our current downpipe does not end up fitting the new MR I will gladly exchange it for one that does as soon as I get a car here to build one on.

bluewater, contact me right away, if it is shipping over seas, as it sounds it might be, I don't want to send it twice, costs to much.

I went and checked my inbox, oldest message was the 21st. Answered all of them, nothing from you.

I do my best. If you have something that needs answered there is always the phone for an immediate response.

Hey David - in the event the downpipe is different - how long will do you think it will be to develop and manufacture before they are available for sale? I'm Curious because I'm seriously interested. I just posponed my order with Jarred and I'm waiting for further information.

vinny, the mr downpipe will be different (slightly) if the wastegate hole shape has changed, the puck would need to be changed slightly, my guess is the only change that will have to be made is to the puck! if that is so, its a piece of cake

I've seen a picture of the new turbo, and it looked like the shape was basically the same...unless I'm totally missing something.
