Installed Greddy Type S BOV, now can't stop boost spike.
 

I installed a greddy type s bov the other day. done the spring mod. i want to run 20.5 (thats what AL has me set up for), but when i try to run that high a boost it spikes. i have the greddy profec II ebc, before the bov install it was fine so nothing is wrong there. i have no idea what is going on. when i turn the boost down it is fine upto about 18 psi. PLEASE HELP!!

hmm.. the single spring mod is only generally for people running stock boost... if it worked fine before, id say uninstall it, and toss the 2nd spring back in, i doubt it will do much but it will stop u from leaking if u ever boost higher, or something like that :)

When you say spike,how high are you talking about.Small spikes wont hurt with a good tune and decent octane.
