By the way, all the fast Evos in the US right now are running Magnus. The price for it
is hella cheaper too $700 for it. That should tell you something ;)

The HKS Kansai one is also an option.

anybody run a new intake mani with the stock ECU. Anyway to get rid of the codes its gunna throw?

I think you'll really need the adjustability of a standalone to make the most of any manifold upgrade

We have quite a few customers with the Magnus one and they like it...biggest difference in the price is due to the construction. Magnus is sheetmetal, Kansai is cast aluminum (like stock), JUN is also aluminum

You might want to correct that on you website where it states that it is stainless.

The JUN manifold looks pretty crazy. It looks like it takes a lot of man hours to build one, hence the high price. How much is the HKS Kansai manifold? That one is shaped similar to the JUN one except it's cast and looks a lot cleaner.

HKS Kansai

11secEVO7 Nov 25, 2004 01:31 PM

but what are the sizes of throttle bodies that you can get with these manifolds....
i know for the BJ's you can get a 80mm...and with the jun i think an 85mm

Z1 Performance Nov 26, 2004 07:56 AM

Kansai uses a 90mm throttle body

Magnus Intake manifold and the BJs one is the only ones I would really consider. They have been proven stateside. I don't see myself paying that much money for a intake manifold when there are 2 that have been proven in very fast cars. Overall Magnus because it is definately a very nice piece and you can get it a lot faster than BJs intake.
