Got my new TRE tranny in the car and it's sweet!
 

I got the new tranny in the car and it shifts great! I pretty much ripped first gear out of car (bad wheel hop at the dragstrip) and had John from TRE www.teamrip.com rebuild the trans. It now shifts so much better then before, downshifting is butter smooth, second to first @ 30 mph is no problem. I think for Autox being able to get into first so quickly will be a huge timesaver. This thing is so smooth now I can't believe it, it really changes the way the car drives. If any of you guys are having problems with sychros, noisy first gear, or jsut want a really smooth shifting trans give him a call. John can fill you in on everything he did to the tranny and what the cost would be.

glad to know that we have options out there for the tranny, but how about doing the T-case ?

visit TRE's website, Jon updated the site with services for the evo...he offers a rebuild with the stock open diff or retrofitting a ralliart LSD. Glad to hear your tranny went well with Jon, haven't driven on mine yet but I'm looking forward to it since Jon rebuilds the thing with the latest tsb releases and newest parts for the evo tranny. www.teamrip.com

They do have some options on rebuilding t-cases, I think they might have a LSD upgrade for the open diff t-cases also.
