272's or ACT street?

on my stocker I have 13,500 miles and 300/300 on a Mustang dyno. Should I buy a ACT clutch so I have a better platform to work on and something that can hold power and launch occasionally or get 272's and the stocker should hold the power? I don't want ppl replying get both because if I had the money then there's no reason for this thread.

personally, i would go with the 272's, i think you would be fine with your stock clutch as long as you dont beat on it.

get the 272's!

Get the clutch. Trust me! When I put my cams in and got tuned the clutch went. I was not even driving the car hard. Second gear roll will murder the stock clutch. Remember you are now putting more power down. Get the clutch then cams.

^ I'll have to agree with WRX Kila .... although I'm not quite sure how you can kill an inanimate object like a WRX :D

I personally doubt the stocker can handle the extra power even if I don't launch on it. Thanks guys.

my stocker holds it just fine on rolls

Launch, no way

272's and then start saving for the clutch just in case it goes out on you.

just did my 272's and gears and all fuel getting tunned thursday and am half way saved for the clutch and install i have 19,400 on mine still is perfect but i can almost garuntee it wont hold soon :) depending on how your clutch feels now and how u have treated it is the decision i know mine will hold for at least a month + and all i need is about 2 weeks to have the money for the act.....

Check out the RPS 6 puck. The torque capacity is the same as the act but you can slip it just like stock. The pedal feels only slightly heavier.
