boy all that work for nothing...

johnjonfenomeno Jul 9, 2005 05:09 PM

thats nutz!!! I wonder if it is really effective especially on just a 4 cyl

Compjoc Jul 9, 2005 05:10 PM

looks like 2 stock evo 8 turbos

BMan Jul 9, 2005 05:28 PM

WOW, it gets 20lbs boost at 4000rpm. Mine waits until 3400 rpm to hit 20.5

prostcj Jul 9, 2005 05:31 PM

I'm new to this game but what would two identical turbos in series get you?

murray Jul 9, 2005 05:37 PM

^^^^twice the air flow............ and 20lbs on two 16g's is not the same on one.

ramon120 Jul 9, 2005 05:37 PM

I think to be effective you would need two smaller turbos. Smaller turbos would equal faster spool up.

kmcconn9 Jul 9, 2005 06:02 PM

hmmm, not worth the money id say

Jakeg97 Jul 9, 2005 07:04 PM

who needs twin turbos when we only need one = GT42R

:)

TRDHarrier Jul 9, 2005 07:39 PM

i was just about to post this. I thought 4 cyl doesnt work well with twin turbos

KILTERMAN Jul 9, 2005 07:46 PM

I think he is an Idiot and is going for the "I gots me a twin Turbo EVO, BEETCHES!!"

TEXSRT4 Jul 9, 2005 07:46 PM

they dont work well. yes it will make more power, but why not just go with a single larger turbo? twin turbos work well on V engines, because of the 2 banks, or in sequential setup, so you have quick spool and still make good power. you dont twin turbo a I4 motor, no real benifit. other than its unique

mrbkkt1 Jul 10, 2005 04:54 AM

baically if i read it right, 2 cylinders power each turbo? waste of time, no real beni and lots of heat underhood.
