Help With Misfiring Cylinder!
Ok so about two days ago my cylinder starting misfiring at 10psi. Ive had this happen before due to a faulty spark plug. I went and took out the spark plug and the little hook on the bottom had broken off! I tried to think of what i should do. First i thought lets try to use a magnet to get it out. Then i realized it was copper and not magnetic. I then bought some air hose and hooked it to a shop vac and tried to vacuum out the cylinder for 2 hours. Nothing came out so i figured that it must have blown out the exhaust valve. I bought a new spark plug and put it in. The car ran great. Then yesterday it would hit 22psi and it would sputter like its misfiring and the car is starting a downward spiral of running bad. Does anyone have any input on this I really dont have the money for a rebuild:confused:

What kind of spark plug did you put?
Compression check it first to see if your engine is still healthy. |
