Let's talk HKS EVC V
 

I currently run a GReddy Profec B Spec II. I dislike it. Yes, I know how to set it properly. No, I don't want to debate Profec vs. EVC, take it elsewhere.

I have heard great things about the HKS EVC V. It is a lot of money but at this point I am willing to spend a bit more for a good component. There are two versions, a PSI and a KPa version. Normally I would perfer the KPA version, but for whatever reason the PSI version is a bit more money. I need to know why.

Can someone please list the differences between the PSI and KPa versions? I can't imagine one would be MORE money just because it reads differently.

I believe the PSI version has the offset function. Other than that they both the same.

I had the PSI version it was great. The only difference between the two from what I understand is reading betweem KPA and PSI. I did also hear that the KPA might be more accurate reading but I am not sure of that.

Rockin, exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks. I think I will go with the PSI version because the offset function sounds pretty cool.

I believe the offset function is available on the KPA version.

Just get u the KPa u will be happy with it I believe they both do the exact same things

I have the kpa and love it.

the psi version is actually less expensive - and it is also now discontinued. The only version available now is the Kpa

the Kpa version has the offset function and peak hold...other than that they are the same units

We do have one PSI version left in stock however :)
