?s changing Fluids on TransferCase for 05's

ok 05 evo and trying to do the first fluid changes. I know where the drain plug is for the transfer case but I can't find the fill plug because the tutorial i have is for 03-04 with no ACD. Can someone please send a pic of the fill plug for the TC or a really good description?

I hate to leave a post this uninformative but my best guess would say take a mechanics glove and run your hand along the TC untill you find a plug at the top side with the same dimensions as the drain plug. I'm sorry man I know that doesn't help much but thats how I found mine.

no one know where the transfer case fill plug is on the '05? Is the plug right there above where the axle goes in? it looks like anything going into that plug would go into the ACD. please, wheres the fill plug on the '05?

It is actually in the same place. If you are looking from the passenger side wheel well it is on the top left of the transfer case. should be a 17 mm bolt.

On the '03s, it's right above the DP on the passenger side of the tc., you might want to give that a check.

Has nothing to do with the acd the line for it is on top of the tc.

how do you see on top of the transfer case?

when i do clutch installs. You can also look from the top of the engine with a good light or pull the wheel and look through the wheel well.
