Question on engine if it wasn't turbo

What would the rated hp of IX's engine be if it wasnt turbo'ed? Sorry for the silly post.. but I was just sort of wondering.

I guess you could sort of find actual #s by looking at dyno charts of slower spooling turbos at the point before the turbo spools up.

The most hp in a non evo lancer is the ralliart version that is a sohc with 162hp and around 130 tq.. I would imagine that the 4g63, being that it is a dohc would have a little more hp even with no turbo...

I doubt it will be close to that though the compression is too low.

Ding Ding....u are the winner. With compression that low, i doubt 162hp is possible. Probably around 125-150hp. It's build strong due to high demands from the turbo.
