Any IX's with big turbo?
 

I want to find out the effect of the MIVEC on the big turbo as far as spoolup and power. And hopefully, compare it to data already obtained on the VIII so that I have a better idea how MIVEC works with upgraded turbo,
If you have upgraded your turbo,

1. What turbo did you go with?
2. At which rpm do you see full boost on pump gas map? (21-22 psi)
3. If you have race map, then when do you hit full boost and how much boost?
4. Power level on pump, race gas
5. Supporting mod?

Yea, I read both threads but no solid numbers as of yet..

You read my mind. I was going to post this exact same question today. I still haven't seen one. I'm mainly curious if MIVEC really can help spool a big turbo faster, not that I'm considering it for my own car any time soon.

I am keeping her stock ;)

Here is the only IX data I know of posted on this website with an aftermarket turbo-

Running a GT35R Turbo and 280 Exhaust Cam, and other bolt ons

Another company put a White Rabbit in. 420whp 450wtq on c16 i believe

grrrrrrrrr MPH not RPM, not really helpful when I want to see how the turbo spools ...

looks like it hits full boost around 4500 to 5000 if i had to guess at it

Well my IX MR is going to AMS for a complete build, GT35R, 2.3 stroker, and a whole lot of other goodies. Its going to take about 3 weeks for the build, When it is done I am going to post pics, dyno numbers ect...
