What's the next best step?
 

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a little more power, but I don't have the money to go all out on anything. Eventually I'd like to do a big turbo setup and have lots of fun, but I'm looking for something a little more economical to hold me over until I have the money necessary to take that jump. I have an upgraded manifold and o2 housing, 272 cams, cam gears, 3" turbo back exhaust, and a reflash...I was wondering what the most sensible next step would be to get some good power gain? Would the 10.5 hotside do it, or won't it make much of a difference? What about just getting a boost controller and turning up the boost a little (and getting it reflashed to handle it)? How much is enough (or, what's the limit on stock injectors and stock bottom end)? Forgot to mention car also has an upgraded fuel pump and larger intercooler. Just looking for a little extra...trying to get around 350whp without tearing into the block or going broke. Thanks!

If you dont yet have a boost controller get one!

so you have all those mods and no boost control? um... maybe its just me but that'd be the next item i purchase if i were you. why did you chose to upgrade the IC, but not run any type of boost control?

boost controller and alky kit=350+hp

Boost Controller + Alky at 28-31psi=380whp.If you plan to upgrade to big snail,don't do 10.5,it is a wate of money for now and future.After alky and MBC,do AEM EMS,then turbo,fuel system and intercooler.
