Buschur Evo 9 LICP review and install pics
 

LICP is installed. It took us less than 30 minutes but keep in mind that we already had haldf of the clips removed from the plastic undertray. Also keep in mind that the stock LICP would take you much longer to remove because it has two vertical bracket that are difficult to access.

Even if you reuse the stock clamps you still will be short on one, the one that connects the rubber coupler to the turbo outlet.

I also want to make the remark that the piping came filthy inside. I would definately wouldn't install it without cleaning it.

As far is the fittment, it fits perfectly, no hasssle, just plug and play.

The spool up is better, the car is more responsive and the turbo seens to sound a bit louder. We are very happy with the results. I recommend it. It cost us $2 dollars to rent the lift and tools on the military base, not bad!!

This is how much dirt we removed and how we did it.. We used a old coolant line hose.

Pic # 1 and pic # 4 actually shows you the big clamp I was saying that you will be short. If you observe the first pictures you would see that the stock piping connecting the turbo outlet does not requires one big clamp.


Please take my advise, go and get you a clamp before you attemp to install this LICP otherwise you will be short one.

Thats how much dirt that was IN the brand new pipe you bought? That's insane. Quality control has never been Buschurs best trait.

Well.. I like Buschur products but before anything else I am a customer like anyone else that like to provide feedback. I assume the piping has been storage perhaps in a rack outside and maybe that why it got like that.

When I bought my DC sport headers they came fillthy inside, I had to do the same thing. I really don't have an explanation of why the dirt inside the pipe.

At least I show how the piping it could be clean using basic tools but in reality I would like to see the vendor sending a dirt free product.

Carlos, I see in your sig that you have (had) the AMS licp. What made you switch to the BR licp? Do you think there will be any difference?

The AMS is on my Evo 8 MR, the Buschur is on the Evo 9. The AMS one is great, I love it and I was going to get the AMS for the Evo 9 as well but AMS never had them advertized on their web page until I mentioned.

AMS just recently updated the webpage saying that their LICP fits the Evo 9, by that time I already bought the Buschur which I don't regret.

The NISEI LICP are also very nice and they look pimp on our cars because they can make them matching the valve cover.

Speaking of the Devil, I believe I sent you a PM to invite you to the SIR track tonite. Can you make it?

my upper ic pipe and maf pipe were just as bad, if not worse edit: ,as far as being filled with metal shavings, when i got it. {thumbdwn}

yes- but after we cleaned it all out and grinded down some burrs the performace of the parts is awesome.

my licp was clean as a whistle inside and out when it came,and eveything you described as far as installation and performance is dead on. Glad i waited 7 months to get it.

Thanks for your response Danny. I also saw your review on the same LICP a couple of days ago. There are people on this forum that don't like Buschur products but I am honest with the vendors, I respectfully let the vendor know if I found something that needs to be improved.. This LICP is worth the price.

Mostlikely I am going to the track tonite(despite it would be like 100 degrees). I am aiming to improve my previous 107 trap speed(Evo 9)
