Anyone try Buschur's new White Cone filter???

Not talking about the reddish pink one. I'm talking about the white/greyish one they are selling on their site now. David said it has been there for about two months and I am looking to buy it. 80 bucks is a lot for a filter so I am trying to figure out whether this is worth it or not.

I am going to run stock MAF and stock rubber MAF pipe and DB says there should be no idle issues or bogging issues that come up usually with aftermarket pipes and filters.

LMK if you have tried it and whether or not you like it.

Dyno comparisons would be nice too, even though I doubt many people have dynoed solely just the filter.

Thanks in advance :mitsu: ,

Ken

You know if you put the cone filter on you should get tuned or re-tuned for it. Even if you keep your stock piping you should get tuned as the open filter will make you run leaner. I have the red Buschur filter on my BR350 that came with the package and now i,m also seeing the newer BR cars with this new filter. I,m curious myself so i,m going to give them a call tomorrow to see what the difference is.

i like it more over the old red one since it has studs to the maf, built in. and i think at a cost of $80, its probably one of the cheapest ones out there. it also comes with a bracket to hold it tight to the body. i highly recommend it.

I have not tried the new filter, but I have the old one on my car. I needed a new filter recently so I went to ebay and purchased one very similar. It was a mistake. The Bushur filter acts almost like an open element air box because the MAF bolts directly to the rear of the filter, and the ebay and similar filters need an adapter which reduces in between the filter and MAF. I put the old Bushur back on until I get the new filter.

**edit: I believe the gain over stock is 4hp/7tq.
