NIevo Jan 26, 2007 02:45 PM

Nice to see you back Dave!

Now thats how you break in a car!!

David Buschur Jan 26, 2007 02:47 PM

Brief run down.

BR Stage 3, 2 liter engine
BR Stage 3 head
BR67-P ballbearing turbo kit
BR coil on plug ignition
BR ported STOCK intake manifold
BR 65 mm stock throttle body
BR Race FMIC
BR upper and lower i/c pipes
BR 3.5" exhaust, turbo back
Tial BOV
Tial 44 mm wastegate
Turbo XS dual stage boost controller
SMC alky kit
BR double pumper intank fuel pumps
1200 cc injectors
BR fuel rail
BR adjustable fuel pressure regulator
BR lightweight battery kit
Tilton twin carbon clutch
BR front and rear motor mounts
AMS front and rear Wilwood brake kit
Axle shop Stage 5 rear axles
BR-Bushwacker modified transmission
AEM EMS
Cosworth cams
Apexi N1 suspension

That should just about do it. The car also has carbon fiber doors and is getting carbon fiber seats. The spare tire, jack, sound deadener and all are still in it. Weighed in at 2813 pounds with no driver and about an 1/8 tank of fuel. That was weighed on our corner scales.

Most of all Tom, thanks for bringing us the car and giving us the opportunity to build it for you. Hope you enjoy it for a very very long time.

David Buschur Jan 26, 2007 02:48 PM

Yes, that is how you break them in when they are built right. Went from the engine stand, into the chassis and onto the dyno for 38 dyno pulls! hahaha Yeah man, that's the good stuff.

superflyevo Jan 26, 2007 02:53 PM

need to get some vids of it going down the road
but if you have got as much snow as i have it would probley be a bad idea

NoTec Jan 26, 2007 02:57 PM

That car is loud as hell!!! I dont know how people do it. And that seemed like some serious turbo lag. Good stuff.

NIevo Jan 26, 2007 03:03 PM

For those of us still in the stone-age and with dial-up are there dyno numbers with just the alky?

David Buschur Jan 26, 2007 03:04 PM

The car made 523 whp on 91 octane and alky.

chongo Jan 26, 2007 03:36 PM

DynoFlash Jan 26, 2007 03:42 PM

Amazing to think its making nearly 100 whp more than when my Evo was on that dyno and went 9.98 with the Gt35

What a great video !

Frenchy4g63 Jan 26, 2007 03:46 PM

I think it was, no exhaust, one of the reasons it was so loud. Probly a downpipe, and that's about it.

I'm guessing, correct me if I'm wrong.

How many pounds of boost was this at?

EVOlunchbox Jan 26, 2007 03:57 PM

Damn nice!
