Dyno'd- video- evo ix mr-updated, two cars..
Hey guys...
just tuned a car yesterday, ecuflash.. mods are: Megan Manifold and O2 housing DC Sports Downpipe Espilir Exhaust Walbro fp Stock bov Injen Intake and upper IC pipe (didnt put the lower on yet, nisei) Forge Unos MBC soft spring AWD Mustang- typical evo ix reads apprx 210/215... with the street file i did, that the car had been running around on, it did apprx 285/306... 24psi 92 octane we hit 343/340 but i backed it down to 21.6 psi average numbers were 315/335... here is the chart compared to an 06 sti.. with headers, upipe, intake, turboback and fuel pump... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...kolblurred.jpg Evo video: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...h_nicksevo.jpg Sti video: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...PICT1571-1.jpg -------------------------------------------- not sure how those numbers compare to what people have been seeing on here, but for the low reading mustang dyno, i was happy. cb |
Doesn't sound like it is that low reading of a dyno. Great results either way.

its calibrated to oem specifications... which is the "low reading" specifications... we also have the weather station that knocks the numbers down.... oem sti and evo's do around 210/215.... (comparable to buschurs and a dyno dynamics dyno... all low reading) we did a stock 2.0t vw (rated at 200 crank hp and torque) it did 155/165... and chipped 1.8t vw's do 160/190... (in 2wd mode, so this reads slightly higher than doing it in awd mode) so its pretty low reading.. |

I'm surprised nobody is commenting on this. These are pretty amazing numbers. I would like to see what an VIII does with those same mods. It should be pretty interesting. {thumbup}

thanks faust.. ;)
mustang will be at our shop for two days... i will have them deny or confirm the numbers for you... but the dyno is set at factory defaults.... ;) -------------------- that car was nutso on the street for a stock turbo evo... sideways in 1st... cb |
I think these are great number especially for a mustang dyno. I just don't feel the uicp and megan manifold and intake. I would port the stock manifold, licp (i know it will be installed), and a drop in air filter and maybe some cams (gsc s1). I would also go for water inj, just to be on the safe side for the track days to keep things cool under the hood :)
Great numbers CBRD |
Congrats on the numbers
