my advice would be to go with the juns, simply because they base all of there power number off the stock head with just springs and retainers. jun's are hard to come by now a day's.If you cant find them i would go with cosworths 11.0 lift as well tomei cams would work really well on a 35r though along with the jun's and cosworth's272 of course.

Tomei's are too much for a road going EVO... Juns or Cossie M2s since you have the 8 MR...

I see that you have a Punto GT!!! pocket rocket! that was my first car ever!

FWIW, the factory head chokes around 10.5 mm lift, so the extra lift isn't going to benefit you anyway. This is one reason why the JUN cams are very well suited toward stock heads.

yeah this is my 2nd punto gt.

i bought 1 new in 98, and bought a 98 car in 2006

gotta love the spirito de punto. lol

back on topic, if my stock head wont flow well for the lift, i could always have my uncle port it a little :D

the cosworth cams dont look like 11.0 to me, more like the hks 10.8 and the hks r cheaper.

the jun's with the 11.0m lift are the old type. ultra ramp rate.

now where to get'em from, unless others have any comments to add

thanks to all

try for gsc s2 .

i like the jun's for there ramp rate as well as lift.

ok the tomei's have more lift, but even if i port the head, im not sure the difference in ramp rate for the 2 cams.

so where can i get the jun's for poor mans money???

ps thanks to all.

Like the other guy state Jun bases there numbers based on stock head flow with upgraded springs and etc. Now even if your head is ported as many other cars that run this same cam with a ported head got great number. I would go with Jun cams based on history and performance on Jun as a company and there cam products which have proven its self and the many cars Jun makes cams for with the same outcome every time more HP & TQ.

Max lift is hardly the most important thing when judging cams..

CHeck specs for duration just just lift numbers... alson you should invesitgate the overlap too... Big lift and super long duration can have reversion back into the intake......

check piston clearnace too..
