I'm looking at getting a boost controller.
Hey guys I'm looking at getting a boost controller in the next couple of weeks. I've been eyeing the new HKS EVC Boost Controller thats on lancershop.com. I've also been looking at the GReddy Profec E -Electronic controller as well. Whice of those two controllers should I go with?

I'd be willing to bet there's not many who have had both in order to give you a pros and cons list. I'd suggest determining for yourself which will fit your tuning plans the best. Any one particular selling point for others might be a deal breaker for you.

The EVC is very good (friend installed it in the left driverside air vent. Fits perfectly), but boy is it expensive. I'm all about MBCs, but to each and their own.

Kind of digging this up, somewhat off topic, but here is what burklow was talking about. Oh, and expect to pay over $500 for a new one.

AEM Tru boost, Great price and it's easy to use.

Good find on the photo Ryan. {thumbup} It is like it was made for it.

I say get a Hallman MBC. its cheap.

I have a Forge right now and somehow its stuck at 30psi. Since Ill be going with Tephra mods I need something quick and simple. So Im leaning towards the AVC-R.

hallman boost controller, or buschur inline boost controller.

I'd you live anywhere with lots of barometric pressure changes stick with an electronic unit. Out of the two you listed, go with the EVC
