First thing i would ask is what power levels are you looking for? Then Ask if you will Roadrace or Drag? Pump gas, meth or race gas?
Weekend car is kinda vague and not much for anyone to go off of. |
But on a side note.
HP = $$$ its simple as that actully. dont need a guru to tell yah that. |
Can ETS tell us what the difference in HP & Spoolup is between 50T and the 58T?
Vs. a GT3076R? I assume a: 50T = 49lbs/min 58T = 50lbs/min 3076= 52lbs/min Thanks Sal . |
GT35, trust me you will love it
|
Biffman said it best. What do you plan on doing with the car?
|
Drag Racing Mostly....
35 r or 58 trim...? |
I also plan on doing Race gas to wake up the turbo.
|
61mm or 35R, but I would just save some money and go with the 61mm. Biased, yes, but I know how well it performs. {thumbup} There are a couple of us out there already running this turbo; I have yet to here any regrets. Especially if you are planning on doing mostly drag racing AND using race gas. I haven't even had the pleasure of running race gas yet.
|
whats your price range? what supporting mods do you have, and which ones are you willing to put in to make it safe?
|
61mm {thumbup} No regrets here as well. Awesome turbo...Good for drag racing with tons of top end. The PT61 specs out to be very close to GT35r but cheaper. Full boost at 5200 rpms in 3rd gear. ETS and Boost Logic both make a kit with the ball bearing PT61. check em out.

Call Tom @ Ets. He can tell you better than anyone what you need.
|
ETS 3076 or an ets 61
