well if you dont want the revolver you can run hks 272's on stock springs, BR makes some you can run on stock springs, GSC s1's can have stock springs. You can look it up and see which ones require new springs. Also take into fact about how much you want to build up your car. Install is a few hours. I think like 2 or 3 i have been told.

thanks for the info so what springs should i look at? and how much should i expect to pay to get them installed?

its is not the durations ie that make the 280s not able to run on stock valve train its the lift. hks cams for evos suck. there isnt enough lift. and yest with revolver 280s YOU HAVE TO run uprgraded springs
|
iirc you don't want to run the revolver springs and retainers. there was an issue with the springs.
you do need upgraded springs and retainers. |

Revolver sells their springs with the cams as a complete package. Realistically, you should be looking at theirs as they are made specifically for their cams. Noramlly, the whole package goes for $770 shipped. I'd contact them for purchasing info for the springs and retainers.
OP, the inexpensive option would be the supertech dual kit. |
