I can't pressurize my piping to do a boost leak test.
 

I have been through all of the threads over and over and still can't fix my issue.
Car was running great tuned on 15 lbs until I added an additional pump. My retaining ring on my Exedy twin broke under some heavy acceleration. I pulled the tranny and redid all of my vacuum lines. The problem now is that my idle is all over the place, there is way less power than before until I hit about 6k rpm, my boost gauge needle shakes like crazy at idle. So, one would assume major boost leak. I have done boost leak tests many times before with great results. For some reason this time, I cannot get the car to hold any pressure at all. I went off of the turbo compressor side and tried the intake manifold. I am using a 155 psi air compressor which is plenty. I have found that most if not all of the air is leaking out of the exhaust. I ever read to put the cam timing at tdc which made no difference for me. I have gone over every single vaccum line and they are all perfect. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like a possible large vacuum leak, which wouldn't let you pressurize your system. Perhaps the EGR valve line isn't attached to the TB?

Where is the EGR valve line? I only saw the two lines which I thought were for coolant? I couldn't find any pictures of a throttle body either. Wow, I hope it's that's simple.

The thing is though that it worked perfect before I pulled the tranny and I didn't touch the im during all that.

If you have a weird idle, chances are it's a vacuum leak in my experience. EGR valve line is behind the tb, near the bottom of the unit. Don't have pics, sorry. YOu just have to stick your hand back their and feel around. I have had the EGR line pop off on my car. It's now zip-tied :)

I appreciate all help. I just pulled off the tb and there is no EGR line. I know there is on the stock manifold, being that mine is the DI, i do not have this. The only two lines on the tb are both connected and I believe are coolant lines. Back to square one.
