Need Help HKS 272's Stock Valve Springs

I bought my evo about 2 months ago with HKS 272's and it still has stock lifters, valve springs and retainers. How long will this last? Any suggestions?

I have over 30k miles no problems.
Next time just search, it's been covered many times.

Sorry a little of topic but ...

Shouldnt you be making a whole lot more power on that 20g on those boost levels ? I think people are making those numbers on the 16g.

It was done on a Mustang Dyno. They read very low.

your good to go man, I ran my 272's on the stock valve train for 20k miles and never had any problems

mandy1 Sep 24, 2008 02:28 PM

i make 400hp on a dynojet with this cams and a 20g at 22psi with stock valvetrain for a while.

assaultman2004 Sep 25, 2008 04:59 AM

I run HKS 280's, 22 psi, with tune. No problems for 22,000 miles....except for lopy idle.

No problems unless you go a lot bigger with lift
