1000cc's, 93 = loss of drivability?

I'm getting tuned to 93 but I want the option to change my bov and go to e85 in the near future. Would running 1000cc's on 93 result in a massive loss of drivability, anyone do it?

If tuned correctly you won't even know they are installed.

91/93/100/110/E85, whatever

what about 1200cc and a double pumper? what is the limit that you would say is the extent of the stock ECU?

RazorLab Sep 22, 2008 04:26 PM

1600's seem to be a bit too much for the stock Ecu on normal gas, so far. I say that because I'm sure somebody will find some tables in the stock Ecu at some point to make them work ok.

RC 1200's work fine on pump gas and E85.

I have a local guy running the FIC 1450's currently on 91 and they seem to work well too.

fantastic. i'm looking to switch between e85 and pump, so my goal is a good dual purpose setup (on the hardware side) that would be a good real world solution. thanks!

I ran 1000cc's in my Evo 8 with a flash for quite sometime. My daily commute was 195 miles round trip. In addition, I had BF272's, and a 37r,

No problems what so ever... Good Luck...

i have no issues at all with 1000ccs.. i daily my car

no issues with 1000's just stay away from larger throttle bodies if you are worried about drivability

Are 1000cc injectors enough to ruin e85, and do I need a double pumper.

all depends how much boost you are going to run

hytek369 Sep 22, 2008 08:08 PM

a good tune makes all the difference

Thank you very much for this piece of info!{thumbup} E85 here I come!

hokiruu Sep 23, 2008 07:54 AM

Lol what did a BOV ever have to do with any of this?

8thWonder Sep 23, 2008 08:49 AM

I have 1000s, a 93 map and E85 map. I run a double pumper as well. No issues whatsoever.
