Can't decide on turbo kit.

I can't decide on whether i want to do a front mount turbo kit like the STM's Ricer evo, or just an off the shelf 35r or 37r kit. can anyone chime in and give me some advice?

Off the shelf HTA35R. Go buschur cast mani for a more subtle, streetable setup, or a tubular setup like buschur, AMS, etc for a more baller look, more lag, and more top end power.

Get a red, this is coming from a guy who has had a green, and now a 35r. Get a RED.

You had green, now 35r, do you have a red yet? why do you recommend RED?

Prolly because the green is insta-spool like the stock turbo, and the 35R has a much higher boost threshold and isn't as fun in day-to-day driving. The red is probably the perfect compromise, and as an added bonus, it's a LOT more cost-effective than a full turbo kit.

I'm not asking if i should go with the the 35r or the FPRed or what not, I'm asking if i should do a custom front mount turbo kit, or a standard 35r kit from full race, ets, ams ect. or i guess i could do a standard flange FPRed but i don't really want to.

What are YOUR GOALS? Numbers and descriptions are more important than brand and product names...

...I don't think this has really to do with numbers more so bragging rights and drivability. 600 give or take 50hp is my goal...

The only problem with doing a front mount turbo setup is the cost. More then likely your car is going to have to be at the shop doing the work since the kit will be completely custom.

You can buy a kit off the shelf and make similar power. It's going to come down to your budget. If you plan on spending less then $4000-$5000 I would go with an off the shelf kit, you can also use the additional money you will be saving for other mods.

Good luck with whatever option you choose and make sure you keep us updated =)

Thanks,

Michael
