Clean your battery terminals and clamps first.

this happaned to me awhile back and took a lot of trial and error to fix. My clutch pedal needed to be adjusted. The car wasn't starting because the car thinks the clutch pedal isn't pressed all the way in when it was. My bracket was bent so the car would only start if the pedal was pushed in at a certain angle. Firestone actually solved and cured the problem for me when I didn't even tell them about it. Go figure. Hope that helps.

yeaaa it might be that my pedal is really high up to engage.

disable the "clutch start" feature, then start it. Make sure your battery holds charge too.

Sounds like a bad ground connection, or just a bad connection in general. Had the same problem a while back, and it turned out to be a bad connection at the battery. If you have a multimeter, test for a voltage drop across the battery connections while someone cranks the car.

Install new contacts in your starter motor.
