BOOST LEAK?? WASTEGATE?? Don't know whats wrong???

Hey fellas, here is my scenerio. Was leaving work yesterday and had to get on it. Well at around 6000rpm the car seemed to loose power and a loud PSSSSST came from under the drivers side of the car. Then I tried again and a quick shift from 1st to 2nd it did it again but earlier now with the race sytle shift into second. I have had my car for 2 months and this is the first time I have ever heard this or felt this. Took it to the dealership this morning and took the service manager for a ride. He said that is completely normal. I told him that this has never done this before and he just said it normal. DAMN IT. Please help.

No mods on the car.

Sound like leaking to me. Check all hose connection.

Sorry for being this thread back from the dead, but my car does the exact same thing. Althoguh it does not occur everytime it does happen about 3 out of 4 times. I have not taken my car to the dealership because I was told that it is the wastegate. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so what did you do to fix it? If the problem is normal then I guess I will have to learn how to ignore it.

I noticed mine started doing that this weekend. It's never done it before. Now there's a leaking sounds coming from the area YEVOVIII described. It seems to occur around peak boost. The last time I heard it I was pretty sure I felt a power decrease too. I'll have to start tightening hoses sometime this week.

Edit:
After reading this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ght=boost+leak

I noticed that the plastic pins in my airbox are not there. So this very well could be my problem. I'll have to track down some more of these pins. I found one of them lodged in my air filter. Don't know where the other one is.

It is 100% positive to be the plastic clips on teh intake snorkle.
