Boost Characteristics on Evo's

I've noticed that my highest peak boost always occurs after the first few times I blast my car. For example, the first time I floor it over 3500 rpms, it normally reads 1.21-1.22 bar of boost. Then after a few more blasts, it'll go to 1.24-1.26 bar. Is this the same way with yours too?

I don't have a boost gauge, but it seems the car runs better when the turbo gets hot. First time you punch it, it seems the car doesn't go strong as it should; but after awhile, it seems to pull harder. That's what my butt dyno says.

this may be becasue the turbo is already spooling when you back off then punch it again... the first punch it has to spool up from a dead stop

This is done after the whole car has completely warmed up, like 15minute drive. I don't punch it one after another either.

I have noticed my car doesn't pull as hard either when you first get on it. My guess is it has something to do w/ exhaust gas temp.
