Recirc BOV's above 28PSI, info request
Sort of hard to search for, but I am trying to find info on people running recirc BOVs with 28PSI or higher. How its holding the boost, if any sort of leak-stop/etc was needed. And how their driveability is.
I don't wanna go VTA cause the sound is just too much for me, and generally has worse driveability then Recirc. Can users with a Recirc running 28+ give me some feedback on the sound/driveability/boost-holding of thier BOV and what type it is. Thanks :) |
Perrin and Forge (adjusted properly is a great BOV) are among my choices. I actually own both and run the Perrin.

ryuevoix runs 36-37 psi daily on his car and its recirculated.
forge rs for the win!.. its on my car too. |

I would recommend the Forge RS as well.

I had 3 forge BOV they all flutter like crazy... I am going to try the synapse
|
Forge Rs or APS . If you do get the APS you will have to put teflon tape on the adjustment screw so it won't leak.
|
aps ftw
|
33-34psi, Synapse synchronic. No issues, sounds great too!

APS FTW {thumbup} |
Ive been running the synapse since it came out with no issues. 30 psi on meth with a ported evo 9 turbo.
|
I wasnt really considering the APS until I saw that graph, thanks GST.
How is the driveability on the APS, and also, is the small vented air making an obnoxiously loud noise or no? |
I have a Forge RS that i have recirculating @28psi till redline, Also have a FP Green, and FP high psi wastegate dont know if that matters but deff no flutters
