272's
hi, im new here, i'll to start with a question
is this a good deal? Im looking into cams, but i ve heard that 272's dont idle well. "i have one last set of JUN 272's brand new vivid sells them for 760+ shipping my price $599" |
$599 is too high, send a pm to "DRC Imports" here on this board, or check with Boost Solutions if you are near them. I got mine from them for $265.00 per cam.
Do a search, there are several of us running 272's on daily drivers and the idle question has come up a lot. ps - they idle. |
arent jun more expensive then hks?

jun cams
JUN cams require different valve springs and are difficult to deal with. Not for the non-experienced wrench/tuner.
|
From a vendor on this forum I was offered the Jun 272 cams (solid type), Jun cam gears, and Jun Valve Springs and retainers for $1300 shipped.

dont get jun 272's they dotn idle for ****,
i got jun 264's, you dont need any special springs, they work with stock evo springs, unless you want jun titanium valve retainers, they you will need to use jun springs |
To run the 272's by Jun u will have to run a standalone ecu to get the car to idle properly plus valve springs and retainers.
