David Buschur's BADBISH, new header.

I've been jamming lately, not sure how many of you follow me on facebook but I've been getting tons of projects done. It's very satisfying to get my ass out from behind this desk and remind myself there's really nothing I haven't done in the past or can't do now. I've grown beyond sick of much of what I have to tolerate on the internet so I've been trying to keep busy with projects.

Here is the latest project. I wanted to build a new header for the RS, still forward facing but I'm going to try Tial's V-band turbine housings on it. I tested them a few years back and want to give it a shot again now. I think something may have been missed then.

I built this from start to finish, obviously my welding is a bit rusty as I never weld anymore, so save the welding comments. Between being out of practice and needing glasses to see anything within 2.5 feet of my face it's not all bad.

Tomorrow I'll get it bolted to the car and get the car back on the dyno. I thought I was done with the dyno testing, apparently not;)

Very nice job David,

Welds don't look half bad.... lol

kinda hard to not make a comment about the welds since you said not to make a comment about the welds, thats half the reason why the manifold looks the way it looks.

Nice Work

This kit will probably not be offered. After the turbine housing testing is done, if all goes well as I expect it to, we will offer them on turbo kits. This is a one off and I'd like to have a few more one off's on my own car, like the old days;)

For those of you on Facebook that want to keep up more on little junk you can find me on there, David Buschur, and send me a friend request. I'll add you.

Did you lose power or response last time you tested the tial housing out?

I remember you saying you were going to test them out. Then you mentioned you tried it but I don't think you put up any results. The end of the test had the modified GT turbine housing on the car that I believe you used up until this test? If I recall correctly, you also decided to change the manifold a bit between the two different housings too?

Are you trying different A/Rs or making the assumption that the change in A/R will be similar to the change in A/R with the Garrett GT housings?

Looks very nice! Glad to see you're still pushing along with testing. It's something that I have always looked forward to when coming on here...

I don't remember what exactly happened during the last test. I have not tested them again, that is coming in the next few days. I do have two different A/R housings to run this time. I don't know what results I will be posting or what I will give up for information. I will give the turbine housings a thumbs up if all goes well but may very well leave the information at just that.

Rich C, no you are confused, that's not a picture of me, I'm sure you recognize him though, remember that night you told me about when you got really drunk......................

You didn't show up in the search results so I searched Buschur Racing and Trent came up, I linked to your page through him. I am guessing your privacy settings are rather strict?
