Intercoolers (evo4-9): weight's?, temps in/out, hp gain vs stock??

First sorry my bad english...

Questions:
- The cooling capacities vs stock (evo 4-9?). in/out temps, any link to results?
*Will be used +500 hp race car with about 1.8 bar/26 psi boost. ..want real "dyno or race" test results. This is real interesting if someone has real results!

- Gain (about hp) vs stock
Hard to find real results!
*...so want real dyno result with 500 hp car with upgraded intercooler vs stock.

- Different intercooler's (3,5") weight?
*Interesting information as it will installed in a racing car.

Also manufactors may answer (if real results)!
ETS, Buschur, AMS, Turbo xs, Nisei Engineering etc..

It is going to be extememly difficult to find all of those results if they even exist and the stock intercooler will never support 500 hp.
What kind of race car; drag or road?
1.8 bar/26 psi, but out of what turbo?
If you are really concerned about weight, then a bar and plate application souldn't even be considered.
This place put out some info on heat rejection vs. stock and pressure drop. They use a Griffin core.
Good luck.

- rally/hillclimb... kind of...
- Car has stock intercooler and +500 hp, pulls max torque about 4000 rpm (tested in 3 different dynos)
- Custom made turbocharger
- Shell race fuel (Turbo Rally - FIA regulations)

..but thanks to links

erm how can pressure drop decrease with an increase in flow... surely thats flawed testing?

a 3.5" and an 5" weight about the same. You not going any faster with a lighter 3.5" cooler

This a ll is now off topic! {offtopic}

When you want improved front/rear weight distribution everything counts(gram or kilogram).
- We don' t need 4-5" intercooler because we now that 530-560 hp is enough. Much more important is that the engine operating wide range. Starting spool 4500 rpm, +600 hp engine sucks.

All we wan't know can we get engine temps down (or) more power
* how much (5 or 50 hp...exaggerated).

Holy sh!t! 500 with a stock intercooler! :eek: Those things flow like crap when you are moving that much air. You can throw in just about anything and you are going to see gains.

^LOL 500whp with stock IC
