how do you know your having valve float... normally that will cause engine damage. It really depends what your plans are for your car and how high you want to rev it.

I would use the GSC Spring retainer kit.. The 5041 kit with Springs, Retainers and Seats is what you need for your setup.. I like the GSC because the retainers are SUPER LIGHT!!!
If you need a set PM me.. Thanks!! I keep hearing great things about the supertech kit buschur uses them in his stage 3 heads..What does lighter retainers do?? Mike

It does not cause engine damage normally.. Its easy to spot as well.. There will be a drop in power right where it hits peak TQ usually or a set RPM.. its easy to hear also if you know what your listening for..

Anyone else about what kit to choose??

Both are great kits, and have proven themselves time and time again. It probably will come down to the price, and if you can get a deal on one.

I went with the Supertech as they ended up being cheaper and they are just as proven. You have to do some actual research if you do not want to be swayed by shops bias or want to sell a product.
