NEED AMS 4G63 Honing plate barrow/rent for school build
 
Im a student here in wisconsin and need to barrow/rent someones 4G63 honing plate, to hone my cylinders real quick here at school for my 2.3 build!


i will pay for the shipping here and back, and any reasonable rental rate

only need for a week

Most people don't just have torque plates lying around lol.

Why don't you just have a machine shop do it for you? Probably come out way better anyway.

if your just honing it, which your really not removing metal just "polishing" the cylinder you shouldnt need a torque plate. I would think you would only need the plate for boring an honing, if you went .020 over.

All "honing" is is removing any carbon build up and freshing up the cross hatches in the cylinders. Your not trying to remove metal, if anything less than .0005". Put it this way if your that conserned about it, have a machine shop hone it for you. Youll do more damage with a bad hone job than not using a torque plate. That I can garrenty you.
