To bleed or not to bleed? (new lifters) Help please.

I know this subject has been beaten to death but I want your input.

Longstory short I just got my head was port and polished. I am now putting it back together with GSC S2's and GSC beehives. I found out I have two bad lifters so I ordered 16 new ITM lifters from MA Performance.

Out of the box the ITM lifters are full of oil no movement. The factory manual has you bleed and fill the lifters with diesel.

I always hear to different opinions. Bleed them so they move freely or go the factory manual way (these are new lifters though)

So what should I do?

if they are new do not clean with diesel, but if you have to bleed to be free and not cause damage in the valves

Bleed all the oil out of them and put them in "dry". When you start the car rev the engine to 3000 rpm and hold is there for 5-10 minutes to pump up and bleed the lifters fully. The important thing when doing this is bringing the rpm up to 3,000 as soon as the car starts!

^^^Exactly what he said...I just threw some Topline lifters (got them from Emery) in my car in July...Don't be scared when you first start the car as it will sound like a nasty sewing machine under your valve cover! haha...
