Just Ordered My FIC 2150's
 

Pretty excited to have just ordered a set of Fuel Injector Clinic's 2150cc injectors. Now the challenge will be getting them tuned on the stock ECU I have seen many threads of people doing it. How many of you guys on here run these and what power are you putting down with them? Also how is the drive-ability and idle? :mitsu:

I am putting down 550ish HP, easy to dial in if you set them up properly. Since you have an VIII you will have to implement the minimum IPW patch to get them to idle correctly...

good deal any tips to get these scaled in? Also out of curiosity what does Spec-Ops sell the FIC 2150's for? Thanks!

My FIC 2150's are in just haven't tuned yet, but it will be on a stock ecu. Fathouse Fabrications is now an FIC dealer Email them to see what their pricing is. ben@fathousefab.com

:mitsu:hey dude,check my FB pics,i went down to Miami to tune my friend's evo which has 2150's on running E85 and SD,we stopped at 690 hp at the wheels at 30 psi 'cause he ran out of pump,if you want i can send you a rom with the specs for them,drivability was great once you fine tune them.{thumbup}Did you figure out your engine yet?

Very nice, thanks for the input guys I ordered mine from Bryan at FIC yesterday, really cool guy and hooked me up with a deal on them. Freddie, thanks for that info and Dan, That's bad ass man I can't wait to dive into tuning these! As for the motor found I had some bad valve guides and somehow a couple of bent valves!?!? Waiting on the new valves now..Should be back to beast mode in a week or so!

:mitsu:Good to know you're making head way with your engine,tonight i'll send you a rom already set up for the 2150s,on E85 as you like it,it'll keep your same timing from the previous rom so it'll give you a nice starting point to start tuning,let me know if you want to switch to SD and i can send you a rom for it also,with those injectors we put down 690 at 30 psi on a SD tune with idc at only 62% so still quite a lot of potential left in them,we're gonna finish the tune soon with the fuel issue already solved,pretty sure this thing can hit close to 900hp,he has a 6466 on a built 2.0,can't wait to hit 45psi on this bad boy.{thumbup}

hell yeah man, yeah I want to switch over to SD at some point but not quite ready to tackle that

Got the injectors in FAST!! I called and ordered them Wednesday the 18th in the afternoon and when I arrived home Friday the 20th after work they were sitting there waiting for me! Thanks again Bryan got them installed Sunday and will be finishing up the timing and other odds and ends on the motor soon. Then begins the fun!
