Delta Cam Repair?

So my balance shaft belt snapped, causing my timing belt to snap, causing some carnage to occur in my head. I have GSC S2's and theres some scoring on the lobes. Has anyone had any experience sending out their existing Camshafts to be repaired? Is this not looked wisely upon? I've researched Delta Cam and theres a big support community for them in DSM's.

Apparently they can weld on new material and repair damaged camshafts. Any thoughts on why I shouldnt do this. Its relatively cheap too $65 a shaft. Vs a new set for $700...

I used to have them weld stuff up back in the day. Quality work, Scott and John are good guys.

Yes, I got it back last week, I forgot about this thread.

The repair looks good to the eye.

Ill take a closer look and get a pic later on.
