Idle video of my IX with GSC S3's
 

I found this on my phone and I noticed there arent a lot of videos of IX's with S3's, so I figured Id throw this up just so anyone gets an idea how they sound.

I said in the description that the idle is 1050, it's actually 1150.

I had mine at 850 I just didnt like the way the car was behaving to get moving from a stop with them, especially driving and then coming up to a stop sign, there was so little vacuum the car wanted to stall lol.

Sounds good! Just curious though, what other valve train parts were you running with these?

Sven did you get the gsc springs and retainers to go with them? I did.. Are you self tuning ?

The head is a Buschur built head, so it's to his spec. There are GSC no tick lifters but its not a GSC valvetrain.

Nice lopey idle , do you experience any driveability issues like svendiesel described when he had s2s ?

TSCOMPTUNED Evo 8 idle on GSC s3's.

I took a bit of time in low gear creeping to help tune my mivec out. There was still annoying parking lot lurch but stop and go traffic was no issue

svendiesel Does Buschur still use there Spring in the head or have they Changed them?

I never had S2's, I meant I had my S3's at 850rpm and there was legit like -5 vacuum lol.
